DVB Engineering Suite support

Product support for the native, offline, standards-traceable DVB calculation and engineering reference workspace on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Before reporting an issue
  1. 01Record the application version and build, device model, operating-system version, orientation or Mac window size, appearance and text-size setting.
  2. 02Name the calculator, selected standard/profile and every input required to reproduce the result.
  3. 03Include the red or amber guidance shown by the app; for a calculation difference, identify the standard edition, clause or table and expected rounding.
  4. 04Attach screenshots only after removing customer, network, location and other confidential information.

Saved values, scenarios and reset

Calculator values and application preferences stay on the device. Each calculator has its own Reset action. Supported scenario archives are distinct from immutable calculation traces; deleting the app may delete the local workspace.

Red and amber engineering guidance

Red identifies an input or combination outside the documented implemented rule. Amber identifies an engineering, equipment or deployment advisory. Mathematically valid what-if arithmetic may remain visible while standards validity is shown separately.

Calculation and standards reports

For a suspected calculation defect, provide a reproducible vector and the exact standard edition, clause or table. Third-party calculators and screenshots may demonstrate a difference, but they are not normative evidence by themselves.

DVB-I URL loading

The tool connects directly to the HTTP or HTTPS URL you enter. Connectivity, TLS, availability, content type, schema/profile validity, registry attestation or destination access rules can cause a failure. MRG's Solutions does not proxy the request or grant access to third-party services.

Location, accessibility and navigation

Use My Location is optional and only fills editable receive-site coordinates. The app supports Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, light/dark appearance, keyboard navigation and non-colour validation cues. On calculator pages, the compact Back control can be dragged and snapped to an edge.

Scope and compatibility

DVB Engineering Suite is an engineering reference, not a certification authority. A documented range does not guarantee that a particular transmitter, tuner, antenna, cable plant or network implements that configuration.
